This is Milana's good friend Erika, with whom we stayed in Vancouver. Erika was a wonderful hostess and gave us an intimate tour of Vancouver's transit system.





Here is a map of Hong Kong. We lived close to Tsuen Wan, a 'suburb' of Kowloon. Taking the MTR (the subway), we were a 25-35 minute ride to Hong Kong Island and Central.





Here is Milana on the Star Ferry. This ferry crosses from Central on Hong Kong Island to Kowloon in 7 minutes. You can see the skyline of Central in the background.





Here we are taking the kids we teach on a field trip to Victoria Peak. You can see Daniel waving at the back of the bus.
